Default Losing power

Lately for about year or so I've been losing power to the car..Originally the car had a great pick up..
It's 2002 Discovery 82K miles going strong..I mean it eventually picks up on the road but it was lot faster than that before I know so..Buddy of mine,he works for LR DealerShop tells me that or at least certain that few of the OS2 Sensors needs replacing because of the SES light comes on..The funny thing is that I worked the car hard on the engine still not a single problem from day 1( I know lot of people or some peeps in here are having problems with their Rovers, I just drive extremely fast) Mike what do you think? Also what's typical life span on the LR's? for 2001-2005 Discovery's?Do you think it will last 200K miles? I mean of course long as no abuse of anykind(My definition is NO OFFROADING) I'm sure I'm gonna replace the engine someday(Definitly)..At least till until I purchase New RR SC(Not for a few years or so, LOL)

So what have you done in the way of tune ups on your truck, have you replaced your plug wires, what octane gas do you use?

Most maintenance has been done on time at least almost on time..I use premium..I hate to admit it but originally I used to use 89 Regular but I found out that they run 93 premium..the performance is lot better..

So what about your plug wires, have they been changed, have you flushed the engine and done a de-carbon on it lately? All these things will help maintain your engines performance.

Too be honest, I don't think so on the Plug wires, I'll get them check out definitly also I had the Radiator and transmission flushed from a body shop out of town and then when I went to get a oil change from a local bodyshop which I always get they tell me that I need it so I'm guessing the bodyshop out of town didn't do a proper job..By the way I was able locate a independant Rover Shop around here in Baltimore MD.
You probably don't remember this, I'm sure you get lot of calls from forum members(It's difficult to keep up) so while back I had a Left back tire issue where the car would drop occasionally when I'm not driving but it would go back up when I turned the engine on, anyway now the shop is convenient for me better than going to dealer(Only time is when I go visit my friend)..
