Default Loud noise from front of engine

2004 Disco II, this loud sharp noise just started. It sounds like a marble bouncing around randomly. Where is this noise coming from?

Something caught in the fan blade? Sounds external from here

Use a mechanic stethoscope to pinpoint where it's coming from

It sort of sounds like the liner tick, but we need a longer clip to play, with the engine idling at a slower speed (around 600 rpm), yours sounds like it is running about 1000 rpm right now.

Remove the fan and the serpentine. Start the truck.

If it still does it, it's something with the crank and the motor. If it doesnt, it's something with the fan or the accessories

Sounds like the belt is coming a part.
