Ouch. That sucks. Were you able to limp her home?

Looks like it's time to weld plate down the outside of both frame rails.

That's Ohio for ya lol rust everywhere

I got her home and I'll plate it up to bolster the new welds. Wont be able to fix her until Saturday

Unfortunately it'll happen again if just welded back into place as it's a design change from a Watts to a Panhard thereby reducing the stress location points by 50%. It needs serious reinforcement of the chassis/frame around that area by at least 1'00" on all sides to spread the point loadings. Big shame as the frame is also pretty rusty in that area so will increase the difficulties.
