Exclamation Lower manifold won't budge

k guys did the forum search and didn't find what I needed so I am asking for help now. Doing a front cover gasket change+WP, etc along with head gaskets. Everything was going fine until I went to remove the lower manifold. Bolts came out fine and everything if off and out of the way but it will not move, AT ALL!

I have tried what I can think of, need some ideas, ones that work preferably, but sarcasm can't be stopped here usually.

Appreciate the help

Rob

There would be sealant on the four corners, a previous owner may have had the valley pan gasket off and used a lot more sealant than required in other areas.

yeah thats what it looks like as there was some orange adhesive in both of the front sides oozed out.
I have basically stood on the thing and pulled without a single mm of movement......all 12 bolts out, fuel rail off, half the eng torn apart since I am doing so much, must be welded on......

Thx for the help, while i was searching I ran into one of your famous Savannah sayings, "just think right now there is a guy in Africa with the same problem and the nearest parts store is 1000 miles away" Thanks for the perspective......

Well, you can get out and change a tire without being eaten alive....

WOW!!! Awesome and frightening, awesome pic, frightening for the passengers of that safari trip!

Thx for keeping me laughing while I bust my knuckles, took some patience, PB Blaster, large screwdriver tenderly applied and she came off nice and easy.......just took me 2 hrs more than planned. Now if I could just get the stupid bolt holding the wire harness on the back of the left head off I'd be doing OK....well better at least
Thx
Rob
