Unhappy LR Mechanics in Charlotte

Hello,
I recently purchased a special edition 2003 Land Rover and everything is doing fine. It's performing well with no complaints, yet every time I take it into the Land Rover dealership service shop, I end up spending big $$. Combining the last three trips to the shop, I've spent around $6500 on things ranging from broken seals to leaking wheel wells. I feel like I'm I'm being jipped and was wondering if anyone knew any other great mechanics in Charlotte who know their way around a Land Rover yet have reasonable prices.
Thanks!

Dale Gregory up in Huntsville.

Phone: 704 875 2929 (Auto Works Unlimited.)

He has a T4 test book and I hear all positive things about him. When people ask about a Rover mechanic in Charlottle or surrounding area, his name almost always comes up first.

Default i know its a haul....

Land Rover Cape Fear in Wilmington is fabulous. they were working with me on my 03 Disco II before i left Honolulu (where the LR delaership is really a Jag dealership that happens to change oil in LR's. Another story) and got back to NC. Mike Lunsford and his crew are the sole reason i am still a LR owner. I drive 1 hour each way to see that guy when i have any problems. if you were coming out to say, Myrtle Beach, it would be a little less than an hour from there on a long weekend or a vacation you may take anyway. its a technique, that's all.

I have brought my 2001 LR Discovery to Gino's just off of Central Ave.

Gino is incredibly honest and his prices have been fair. I recently had him do a complete Head Gasket job on my LR along with several other things for a fraction of the cost. He called about a week later to find out how it was working for me.

His shop consists of 2 mechanics, Gino and his brother Tony. They work together on many of the larger jobs. Its great to go in there and know you will always be talking to the person who did the work.

BTW...Gino does not have the LR diagnostic computer if that is what you need.

Good luck!
