Has anyone ever tried to mount the seats from a LR3/4 (or anything else) in a Discovery 2?

Used Disco 2 driver seats all seem to be worn to hell, and the cost to recover them is much more than some nice used Range Rover seats.

Besides the controls on the side, it looks the part:

frame mount totally different. But anything could be made to work................

 

D2 passenger side seat cushions fit DS perfectly
