I'd say the ability to air down greatly depends on how much sidewall you can fit... I mean, if you could fit a 275/75r20 (36") that has a 8" sidewall you could probably air down pretty well! Having fitted 275/60r20's they have 6.5" sidewall and could probably be slightly deflated for better traction, although wouldn't fair well on rocks.

These RRS wheels are 20"x9.5" with +53MM offset. I also went with 275/60r20's but the AT3's look a little taller than whatever you have on there.
I'm actually glad I got an OEM with a large positive offset, the axle+hub width on these trucks requires a large positive offset to keep the wheels from sticking out super far. I'm surprised you can turn AT all.

You said you hauled a boat, well I just hauled my car trailer loaded with all my furniture 200 miles... Thank god for those HD springs!!! Handled like a dream!

Hah, I read the title and immediately knew who's it was. I was actually about to text you earlier about your tires and forgot. My question was, have you tried them in loose sand yet? I've heard they're spectacular in pretty much everything else, but I cant seem to find any info on their ability in sand. I need something I can use in the dunes next summer.
