Default Lucky8 in sort of a slump?

I ordered their higher-end Lemfroeder brand ball joints and got them today. The ball joints they sent were just thrown into a bubble mailer all loose. I guess I expected proper packaging? There’s no marking or anything on these joints to verify what brand they are. Anyone else have experiences like this with them lately?

After my experience with a thermostat from lucky 8 that was garbage190 then refused to refund me and somehow lost the 190 I shipped back to them. Maybe cause I’m in Canada they couldn’t care less.
I’ve spent thousands in the last 2 years Thanks rock auto bearmach and Atlantic British.

To be fair, the boxes likely wouldnt fit in a padded mailer and it looks like there was a whole bunch of paper packing in there to pad them as well, based on your photo.

It looks like they packed it down to save on shipping costs and they got there OK.

A little nit-picky but I do get where you're coming from

Yeah, my water pump also came without any packaging. It was adequately padded but no clue who made it. My OEM thermostat came in a branded box.

They do things to make it cheap for us. For better or worse. You want service call Rovers North, the best price Lucky 8. It’s hard to grudge them that when they are the cheapest option.

They just got a new Defender and are modifying it. My guess is they expect that to be very popular and to have a huge aftermarket parts market. I’d bet they are right, and distracted.

I’m from Canada as well. I have found the cheapest place for parts is LRdirect in Britain. The shipping is about the same as from the US, sometimes cheaper, just as fast and the price and selection is unbeatable.

I am in Canada and buy from Lucky8 through their Ebay store. The EBay shipping program is cheap and reliable. I travel to New York State for business so if the border ever opens, I will time my purchases so I can pick up.

I would expect window decals to come in a cheap post office mailer not ball joints.
