I tried that several times and specifically requested a certain brand. Was told that wasn't a problem then the part showed up from AllMakes4x4......... which was NOT the brand I requested lol.

If it's any consolation... the boots on my brand new Terrafirma track rod drag link deteriorated after 3 months of regular street driving.
I measured the tie rod diameters (15mm x 37.2mm) to purchase new rubber boots but I ended up buying a set from UK's Gwyn Lewis...https://gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/product/p...s-four-gl1173/

If you can't be bothered to build a decent website seeing how 'easy a caveman could do it' it is these days.. There are other vendors that do and send the correct products you order.

I'm a millenial and I use the phone. I always call them. They usually offer a forum member discount when I ask as well.

Not to say I haven't gotten bad parts from them before, I have once or twice, but in the past they've been pretty good to deal with.

Now that said, I haven't used them in a few years because I've been out of the game for a while. It really depends on what I need more than anything, and who has the best price on the exact item I'm looking for.

"I'm a millenial, I don't use the phone" is a poor excuse, and that's exactly what gives "us" the reputation a few of the members of the older generations hold of us. I'd rather not get lumped in with that.

I don't care for the Millennial excuse, it's more of a business matter to me. If your competition is doing it better than you, you need to get with the times or fall behind. Obviously don't get rid of the phone line because the old folks insist on using it. No one is telling them to USE THE INTERNET, like they tell us to USE THE PHONE.
