Default M&S Now Flashing

To add insult to injury, my M&S Lights are now flashing and I cannot start the truck to get it into the garage.

I am going to try cleaning/tightening the battery posts, but it is turning over just fine.

Any other thoughts on what it could be? I did try it with a likely burnt valve about 1.5 miles, but no codes are showing now.

The battery terminal trick worked. The battery terminals and cables are totally worn out.

Yep cold weather just makes dirty/worn out terminals that much more picky.

They're in awful shape.

Been spending most of my time looking at newer land Rovers to be my daily driver.

Any recomendations?

06-09 L322 supercharged hands down the best newer option.

I am lightly looking around. We are buying a house soon, so I an going to have to see how that shakes out to figure out how much cash on hand I need to put down.

What makes them the best if you don't mind me asking.

I wouldn't mind an 06 RRS supercharged in that Range Stormer looking Orange with a black interior. However after owning the 06 LR3 HSE call me old fashioned, but I still prefer 87-04 LR's to the newer stuff. 4.4L V8 was a great engine though.

Oh, I love my D2, but I need something that scratches my Land Rover itch and I can daily drive.

I am going to "restore" a D2 down the road and stick my Turner in it.

The 4.4 has proven to be pretty solid, the 5.0s are sweet if you have the timing chain guides replaced/upgraded. The L322 just look sweet and I think it's a little easier to find one with a rear locker (just bc) and then who would argue with the power from the supercharged variant for daily duties? Plus they don't cost an arm and a leg..
