I have read about the timing chain thing. I just looked on Atlantic British and that is over 2k just for parts and tools. There is a sweet 2010 in Green in Ohio I would love, but if the 4.2 is the better engine I would likely look for that.

I was reading that was a common fix, I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Brought it to my local mechanic and he just cleared the codes, took the shifter and jerked it back and forth a few times (pretty fast and aggressive), then told me it should be good. Hasn't happened since.... Glad you were able to fix yours though!

He didnt charge anything. Just sent me on my way told me to call him if the lights happen again.

I always feel fortunate to have a mechanic near me who I can trust to not rip me off.
