Default Machine shop took this bracket off my head; where does it go?

Edit: Problem solved. No longer need assist on this.

I picked my 2001 D2 heads up from re-surfacing and the guy pointed to the bracket pictured and said......".not sure where that was on the head. I took it off to resurface."

I know it was on the back of the left or driver's side head and I think some wiring was held by it,....but not certain. Can someone tell me Where and How this goes on the head and what it is securing (wiring, multipin connector, etc)

BC in Cedar Park,

hmm.... is that the one that holds the crank position sensor connector? If so, it's on the back somewhere.... I'll go look and see if I can find it on one of mine.

I believe you are correct. It should fit on the driver's side head at the rear on the lowest bolt. The engine harness connector for the ckps should slide into that bracket, with the ckps plug on the free side.

Edit: Yep, it is.

It goes like that (I'm standing behind the motor).

Glad you got it. Yeah, that was a really crappy cell phone pic in a dark pole barn.
