So yesterday I replaced the Wires with the 8mm Magnacores
Plugs with Bosch Platinum+4
New Cap from Landrover
New Rotor from Landrover

Its only got 46k but its 15 years old..

The RESULT...

MOAR POWER!!!!!!

Awesome..
It really wants to get up and go!!!!
Evened out the Idle..
There was an ever so slight oscillation to the idle
now its just like smooth as silk.

Used a wire brush to clean up the shaft the bug sits on
as it had some rust..

 

Now it is time for an induction cleaning for even more power.

 

DONE

 

i would not call is more power,,,

more like restored power lost over time from burned out wires and plugs and a dirty induction system.

 

Always good to see what great words of wisdom you come up with. Hope to see you do some meaningful positive posts in the future.

Now it has more power than it did!!

hey considering that 95% of the topics and posts are about something negative or bad happening to a persons rover i cant help but to keep things light and not be soooooooo serious all the time.

i like to goof around and bust chops. not in a hurtful way, but in a guys raggin on guys way.

besides between the search feature and you all the info ever needed is a few clicks away.
