I just typed the part number in the search box on their web page - before the price went up.

This thread is very interesting and you all know what your talking about. So, here is a stupid question needed in this thread what are those wires for. And why are they such a big deal? Also, is that price per wire? I need some info here I don't know much about car but I have a '96 DIsco that's misfiring and has some other issues, I assume one of those issues could be spark plugs and if this is a good price for them, I'm in.

Thanks

the price is for the set. The reason for the wires is they are 8MM opposed to the 7MM OEM wires. The better the spark, the better they run. If you are having misfires, start with plugs and wires. These work the best with these trucks....

Thanks for your response, the spark plugs are not that old maybe 4months but I can't really say that they have been replace with a good set. If I have to order wires and plugs can you please tell me specifically what kind (part number, who they look) and where I can find them. My disco is a '96 SE7. I've order from "auto parts warehouse" before but I got wrong parts (their fault).

Thanks again and lets hope this can work. I'll keep posting

BTW, what brand is a good one to buy on spark plugs, I haven't been reading good things about BOSH. Also @ the website suggested here to buy the wires, I can't find one for the year and model I need ('96 DIsco). Would any other closer year work? If so which one.

Thanks a lot!

WIth these wires, people have run the Bosch platinum +4 and some have run the Fusion plugs with happiness. The part number should be 80124 for your truck Here is the link, but call them to make sure you are getting the right ones if you are unsure.
