Default Making drivers seat go back further

I was wondering if anyone has done this... I am 6ft 5, and would like to move the seat back, say, 2" to gain a little extra room.

Has anyone done this?

You should have gotten an LR3 if you want a Rover with more leg room!

I messed with this (6'6"), but gave up because of the twins in car seats. 2" totally removes the use of that drivers side 2nd row. when they are a little older and can booster in the way back, I will revisit the option.
so subscribed, to see how it works out.

Generally I think of my cars as 3 seaters! There are very few where someone can sit behind me.. my 2013 Passat is one of them (added 4" in the back, on the US version)

So I am OK with the trade-off....

I have been contemplating the same thing. I'm 6'5" as well and would love a few more inches. (Now that just didn't sound right).

I had the driver seat out last weekend. The only thing I could think of would be to extend the tracks. The seat mounting to the body just wont allow you to move it, unless you can cut the floor panel and weld some brackets.

Another thought is if you move the seat back further how will that affect the seat belt and where it crosses your body.

I did relocate the hand brake to the euro side. Fairly easy and sure helps a lot.

If you google it, you'll find some instructions about flipping some rail around or something. I'm short so I didn't bother to commit it to memory.

Just be glad you don't own a D90..... The seats move even less.
