Guys,
I have been driving the Discovery almost daily (400 miles) and so far so good. I had some issues with the engine install that I think I have taken care of for now. All the wiring is back to where it should be and knock on wood I don't have any leaks at the moment. Radiator is now properly installed and I even sourced the proper connectors for the shroud. I have been watching the Ultraguage and 208 is the highest I have seen (sitting in traffic with the a/c on) mostly runs at 194-197 depending on load. I am hoping the new (used) engine continues to do well. My power steering pump is dying a very slow noisy death, new one should be here Tuesday, plan to install on Saturday. Decided today to take off the running boards as I really don't like them, surprisingly all the bolts came right out, guess I got lucky (oxy acetylene was on standby just in case). If anyone wants them they are free to a good home. Shipping would suck and they have some rust. Hoping to get the Hurricane wheels refinished soon and then new tires for winter. Bumpers are going to most likely be a spring addition.
