Its only power. The two button above the rear view mirror. Otherwise the motor is fried or off track. Or your sun roof ecm of fried.

Well everyone is wrong today.
There is one for each roof, look up at the front switch, you'll see a square access button, remove it and insert an allen wrench. There is also one for the rear roof farther back.

ROW (rest of world) DII's were available with a manually operated sunroof. US spec were only available with electric.
If you have electric sunroofs, then you won't have a hand crank. However, it is possible to operate them with an allen wrench as Mike stated.

Ah I like when I learn a new simple feature my Rover has. I added a picture. The sunroof takes a 4mm Allen wrench. It goes up and down easy with he manual wrench.

Default Rear sunroof allen access?

PERFECT THREAD! The rear sunroof on my new to me Disco 2 is leaking like crazy. I removed the small rectangular access panel next to the rear switches.

Where I would think there should be an allen screw is only a pin of some sort. Def. not meant for manual turning. Anyone tell me IF there is rear allen manual sunroof closing capability for a 2001 Disco 2?

Other questions,

Does the ECM operate BOTH sunroofs? If so where is it located and can it be accessed without removing headliner?

Can REAR sunroof motor be access/serviced without removing headliner?

MANY MANY TX!

Update, I just found the RAVE manual with answered every question except the Manual crank thing.

Ideally I only want to cinch down the glass to the gasket and if I can do this, I'll disable the darn sunroof.
