I'm guessing that used parts from the UK would be the way to go. Much cheaper when you can find them on ebay.co.uk.

Did we confirm that that manual crank will work with electric sunroofs?

mine gave out today.... they opened and didn’t shut.

@Carlos Man yup works just fine, I use a torx screwdriver T25 to open and close mine. However if the motor is completely seized this will not work. In my case I just removed the motor portion and put the gear section back, works fine.

Surprisingly, I just went out to the garage to start cranking and I tested it first and the button worked .... I guess will see how long it last before it’s an issue again.

50/50 it fails in the open position..... seems like a bad gamble.

Edit> 100% it fails in the open position and starts to rain within seconds. Or at least that's my luck.
