marvel mystery oil
Put 8 oz in my oil about 150 miles ago. It cleared up any sign of rattle from the lifters. Truck is very (comparatively) quite.
I know everyone has their own opinion on additives. However I could not make it worse so I figgured why not. The bmw community uses it.
Huge difference.
Ill do the next oil service with Rotella. This was service station oil knowing it would not be in there for long.

I bought a sailboat from a wonderful fellow in Jacksonville with an 80 hp Ford Lehman engine about 15 years ago. I was told by him to always use MM Oil. As a result, every time I go to the USA I stock up. I put it in every tank of gas and oil change for all of my vehicles. I used to put a quart of transmission oil in the gas tank in my 68 MGB once annually to clean things out as well, but now I am only a MM oil guy...Having said that, I still only get 10 miles to the gallon in my Landy....
