+1 Agree with above.

If you look at load specs for each spring weight, it should be relatively easy to add up the weight you travel w vs stock & see what makes most sense.

And again, those wheels are so awesome

Great info here. I just got a 99 D2 and it is all stock. I am thinking of going with the TF Med 2 in lift with the KO tires. Anyone know what size tires I should be looking at with the 16 in stock rim with the 2 in lift?

265/75/16 should fit nicely, might have some rubbing at full lock on the radius arms but I didn't find myself at full lock very often so it wasn't a concern. They look damn good too. Helps that the K02s run a little smaller than their advertised diameter

Default Tirea

Can I get away with the 265’s without the 2 in lift until I get around to doing the lift??

That I can't speak to but I would imagine some rubbing would take place, not sure to the extent of it though. I bought mine with a 2" lift and the 265s on it.

with the stock wheels? Probably only with lots of weight. My 255/70 rubs but butnothing crazy I also got a wider wheel.

Sorry I wasn’t as clear as I should be. I am going to do the 2in lift but not right now. I need to get tires ASAP so I wanted to get the biggest tires in prep for the lift. Hope that makes sense. If it rubs a tiny bit I’m ok with it. I’ll do the lift in a few months. Thanks to all

Ahhh but base on my 255/70-16 it rubs. Only when entering driveways / off camber...

But my rims are 1 inch wider than stock. My guess would be that 265 will rub but nothing crazy. You can always hammer the inside fenders.

Default Lift

Well I just bought the lift today TF HD 2in. Guess I don’t have to worry now lol. Just need to decide on the BFs or Goodyear’s.
