Default michelin tires cracking on the sidewalls

i have a problem with my syncrones cracking on the sidewalls. i brought it back where i purchasedthe tires and the guy said that it is possible that chemical mayhave caused this. I hardly ever usedressingand the only dressing i use is eagle one which will not harm the tire. has anyone had problems like this in the past and have you been successful with getting your warranty to cover a tire that has 36,000 miles on it. They are only 2.5 years old and michelin gives a 6 year warranty. I am looking to get out of these tires for something else that ican use year round in snow and ice---any ideas thanks Jim

My Michelin's did the exact same thing.
They had 40k or so on them and were several years old.
I was not the original buyer so I just bought new tires.
BUT a friend of mine had the exact same tire and had no problem getting them replaced under warranty.
I did not replace them because they were weather checked, I wanted a more aggressive tire.

With 18"s my favorite AT tire is the General Grabber A/t2. Great on and off road. Quiet on the highway and great quality tire.
