Default Mike, How about some Stickys?

Mike,
Have you ever considered some "Stickys" for the following:
- "Considering buying new Disco"
- "Just bought a new Disco, now what?"
- "3 Amigos"

It seems like every other day there are new posts just like these. Manyforum memberseem to loose enthusiasm answering the same questions over and over again. You can see their responses have become condenseddown to a few quick sentences nowadays, or just "use the search tool for...". I'mwondering ifusing the next questions like that as a stickymight not result inbetter info for newbies and less repetitiveness for members?Just thought I'd throw out the idea.

Good idea, I have noticed the same thing.
I would put the list of what to do after first buying, that would answer the "now what" posts.

Yes yes. It is difficult to find the standard info if it is not stickied.

Topics like Differences between the years.
Disco 1 vs Disco 2
Most common problems and fixes
Vehicle specs (full time 4wd with open diffs etc)

Would be good for everyone. I'm still looking for some of this info and is hard to find it in the threads.

YES I've been meaning to suggest this myself! A sticky on the best ignition components (I.E plugs/wires/coils,etc) and maybe oil pressure issues/oil flushing might be good also. Maybe a drive shaft advice/tips sticky as well? These all seem to be frequent issues on here and I'm sure many of you guys are tired of answering these questions.

Oh a sticky on how to get advice for the newbie's would be good also. I.E the info they need to include with their questions, like mileage and year etc.
