Default Minor Disco Damage $$$$$

A girl in front of me in a parking lot passed an open spot and proceeded to slam her Toyota 2 door car in reverse and smack me. She has Allstate as her insurance carrier and I am hoping that the transaction goes smoothly. I have always been on the other end of this kind of thing and I am wondering if anyone has delt with Allstate before. The police were not called because we were in the parking lot and I go in tomorrow to the adjuster. I have all ready called my body shop guy and he said to bring it in after the adjuster does his thing. The hood and quarter panel have been knocked out of alignment and the lower bumper is pretty cracked up along with the fog lamp. The headlight sprayer is broken and the headlight assembly is out of alignment, brush guard is slightly crooked and the attachment bracket has bent the quarter panel a bit. Also there is a crack in the piece around the inside of the headlight trim. Any idea what I am looking at $$ wise?

I has a woman rear end me last year. Allstate was her carrier. It took them less than a day to get things sorted. I was impressed with their followup and efficiency. I'd be surprised if you had any problem with them. I've dealt with 3 large auto insurers over the years and they've all been great. Night and day difference from dealing with health insurers.

Just one thought, I have State Farm and they guarantee their work as long as you own the rig, paint and parts and workmanship. I found out the hard way how much it is worth.

I had a vette once and a guy backed his pickup over the hood.....his carrier was allstate and they were very fair and quick......just don't let them talk you into anything you dont want......(I think they'll all try to get away with something if you let them) my guess on the damage would be about $ 2000. A popular insurance company tactic these days is to try to fix your vehicle with used parts...which lowers the est of repair and saves them money ...there's no law that says you have to go along with that..stand your ground !
