Default misc. warning lights

I have three things that have been occurring randomly over the past several months. Since I haven't won the lottery yet, I am hoping the discover solutions to these problems without taking it blindly to the dealer without at least understanding what I may be facing.

1. Whle drivingmy ABS+TCS +(Downhill) service lights will all come on at once. They will stay on untilI shut the car off and drive it again. Nothing appears to be malfunctioning while driving when these lights come on however.

2. The cruise control has ceased operating properly but not competely. If I set it at 70 it will slow down to 60 or so then hold speed for a few seconds then no control at all.

3. The rear suspension will sag after sitting overnight unless it is a warm evening. It usually doesn't do this during the day when the temperatures are warmer. This happens winter and summer. The bags do not have any visible cracks but occasionally I will hear a short burst of relief air just as I walk away from parking it.

Any insight to these problems is greatly appreciated.

Hey!.. Well, first of all,w elcome to the Rovering Community!... Ask us anything, and I'm pretty sure someone will chime in and assist you!

First of all, how many miles are on your truck? Do you have an extended warranty?

1.) This is a very typical problem with LR's... search under the "3 Amigos".... there you will find all your answers i solving this problem.

2.) I would say to go to the dealer and have them look at it, but before you do that, wait for someone else on the forum to comment about the cruise control. If you searh under Cruise Control, I'm pretty sure you will find your answer

3.) You might back worn out airbags. The burst of air you are hearing is normal. They are just releasing alittle pressure. They however, are not supposed to sag. How much will they sag? Will they go all the way down to the bottom?

Let us know!

Happy Rovering!

My mileage is 108,000 and I have no warranty on the truck. Thank you for the replies, John-Robert and Mike. And thanks for the offer to call Mike - when is a good time for me to do that? Thanks again,
Dave

Well, most of the time is means that your ABS modulator is bad.

Thats what was wrong with mine..

You might wanna start there

No, Don't start with the modulator, the biggest true reason is usually related to one of the speed sensors. Now if you take it to a dealer they will throw a list of parts at you, including the modulator, when in fact is is a sensor.
If you apply the brakes hard, do you feel the ABS pulsation?

Yes, I do feel the brakes pulsing when applying full, hard pressure.

Mike - I would like to call you regarding these problems - when would be a good time?
