Misfire codes after Seafoam?
Tackled some maintenance today....did the Seafoam treatment, changed engine oil over to Rotella 15W40 w/ M1 301 Filter, drained transmission and refilled.
After letting the Seafoam soak in for a bit, fired the truck up and filled the area with smoke. About 3 minutes in, got a handful of codes (P0300, P0301, P0306, P0307, P0308 - All Cylinder misfire codes, and P1300- Multi Cylinder misfire). Recorded all the codes and reset. Driven 50 miles since, none of them have popped back up. Hoping this was just a random occurance because of the Seafoam....anyone else have this happen?
Tomorrow it's the tierod ends. Not really looking forward to it.

That stuff doesn't burn quite as well as gasoline in the engine. I wouldn't worry about it unless they come back. Who knows, you might have even had a chunk of carbon that got loosened up get stuck in a valve, before it blew out the exhaust.
The codes you got are to be expected. Part of the process of an induction cleaning is to clear the codes once you are finished. Of course, you could just let them go and it will clear itself eventually, as all of the codes its going to set are soft codes.
