1. Click on the section you want to post in, for instance "Discovery II." The button is on the top left of the section, it says "New Thread."

Looks like this.....

Post follow up for completeness:

After changing the coil pack and having the issue again I decided to run some Techron through the fuel system and change the number 5 plug again. The plug had some carbon buildup on it when I took it out. After doing this I drove about 35 mintues and had a misfire again on number 5 with the new plug in it.
The Techron had not gone completely through the system when the misfire occured but by the time I had gotten home I was pretty low on gas. At this point I thought maybe it was a sticking valve. I didn't want to do the compression test yet because I didn't want to have to disconnect the ignition coils after I had just spent so much time doing the wires and the one coil; I was sick of meesing around on the back of the engine. I decided to try the Marvel Mystery Oil and since I needed gas thought I would try another gas treatment, I used an STP one this time. Anyway, I haven't had the issue again for over a week now when I was having it a couple times a week before. I plan to change out the oil after about 500 miles. Thanks for everyone's help.
