So went to Youtube and found a guy doing this smoke test using a Cigar blowing Smoke into the Manifold. Didn't have a Cigar but did have a Christmas Cottage Incense Burning thingy . Covered up the intake with a latex glove and used one of the vacuum ports to try to get this incense smoke into the intake. Needless to say not enough smoke so off to BP for a Cigar. Couple puffs with the cigar and I found a gross leak around the #1 injector to manifold. I had to pull the injectors out to torque the intake and did not replace the O-ring.

So got a new set of O-rings ordered from Gold Coast Rovers for $9.00 quantity (16). Local Landrover shop didn't have the in stock and want over $8.00 a piece or $128.00 for the (16).

This should do the trick. I hope!!!

Just to follow up- Replaced all injector O-rings. Was surprised at how hard the existing O-ring had gotten in two years. I purchased from Gold Coast Rovers at .54 cents a piece vs. AB $6.00 a piece. I did notice on one injector that at the nozzle end, a little plastic piece called a Pintal cap was missing. The purpose is to hold the O-ring in place from what I gather. I had to get the truck on the street so took the chance that I might have another leak. Luck was on my side as the truck now runs great, no codes!!

Thank you Drowssap for the smoke test suggestion. I would have probably replaced MAF sensor, Coils and who knows what else as I would have sworn on my life that I didn't have a Vacuum leak.

Something a bit better then that .99 cent Swisher Sweet I used. Was my way at getting back at her this time around. I could just hear it say in a British accent "How dare you blow that cheap smoke at me". Next year she'll be 10 years old and even though its given me a few curve ***** I still consider it a great truck.
