Default MP3 Interface to Steroe

Hi,

I was wondering whether it is possible and easy to interface an MP3 player to the stereo in my '04 Discovery Landmark. It has an Alpine XQE100240 6 CD Changer.

Thank you for any help

Regards

For my iPod I use a charger (plugs into lighter) with an FM transmitter, tune it to an unused channel on my car stereo, and rock out. I like this combo because it transfers easily from one vehicle to another. Belkin and Monster make these products and can be found on eBay, Walmart, Circuit City etc.

Yes, we have a Belkin FM Transmitter, have just found it a little 'hissy' and was interested in exploring the alternatives.

in mine I use the Tape thing plug directly to my I-pod or XM radio. I used to have the FM transmiter but sometime the FM stations makes to much "static"noise.

Granted, some areas have so many FM frequencies occupied it is hard to get a clean signal all of the time but in my area I usually get one. The Monster brand seems to perform better than the Belkin model but both benefit by being physically located as close as possible to the car stereo.
