first time caller long time listener. hey mr o how are you supposed to roll up the carpet to get to the hatch for the fuel pump since my carpet seems to go all the way across underneath the two storage compartments.

 

i found the cam shaft sensor but couldnt find the crank sensor could you please be more specific of were its at,

Are you meaning where is the crank sensor located on the engine, or where to buy one?

As for the carpet...the storage compartment side panels will just pop out, that should give you better access to the carpet.
I have not had to replace the fuel pump on a Disco yet, but on my wifes Volvo I had to remove the third seat and some of the side trim in the cargo area.

 

I meant the crank sensor on the engine. Could you please be more specific Mr. O. this is his wife mr. o.

From the looks of it in the repair manual it is on the drivers side, at the back of the engine about half way down. It has a heat shield over it.
