Default muffler

I am looking to have installed a dual tip side stainless exhausted on my disco 2. My muffler which is stock is huge, long. Does anyone have a idea if i can replace it with a shorter version so i have room for the 90 degree bend to connect it to my side exhaust mounted on the lower part of the fender behind the rear tire.

Thanks,

Joe

I'm sure the pro's at the muffler shop can help make the best recommendations for what you're looking to do

You can very easily. You'll just have to extend the existing pipe. This will, of course, also change the sound of your exhaust.

Whatever you do, do NOT get a Flowmaster on one of these trucks. The drone is unbearable. I've done a dozen different systems on my Disco, so if you've got any questions just ask.

I just want it to stay about the same for sound. Not interested in a bunch of noise. Just like the look. Im using a stainless oval exhaust with duel tips made for a boat. Not cheap 850$. Thank you for the advice. Joe
