Got a hole somewhere in the pipe assembly, can i take it to the neighborhood muffler guy or are Discos unique in this regard and I need to go to the dealer? just started hearing it. thanks all....

 

Any quality exhaust shop should be able to help you. There are a variety of aftermarket exhausts available ranging from inexpensive soft steel like Bosal to high quality stainless from Borla. A quality shop should be able to fabricate individual pipes should you just need a small repair. There is no need to go back to the dealer and pay their premium.

I had a new muffler installed at the local non franchise muffler/brake shop 2 years ago for $100 out the door.
Nothing special, exhaust pipe is exhaust pipe.

You may also just have a loose bolt causing a gasket to leak.
