hey mike fuel filter on 2002 disco is underneath the right passenger seat of course underneath the disco but in relation to that area right? i got under there this mornin and i think i saw it there. im going to try that next to see if it fixes my starting problem.

We have already said how to check it. Turn on the key, then on the engine is a schrader valve, looks like a tire valve, remove the cap and press on it, if fuel shoots across the room, your good if it dribbles, your no good.

As for the location of the valve, forget it, on a D2 it is nearly impossible to get to it.
