How does it run when you unplug the MAF?

The same lol. It stumbles very very slightly, and when I plig it back in, I don't notice it pi king back up. After cleaning the MAF with the tried and true CRC MAF cleaner, it gave me a low voltage MAF code.

I’m still suspicious of the 1/4 tank of 4-5 year old gas. I know my carbureted motorcycle would not run on it.

well, considering this issue is the reason the truck got parked by the previous owner.... also, I managed to get some of the old gas out- not all of it, but some...and added fresh fuel, a bottle of HEET, and some fuel system cleaner, I don't think it's fuel related. I confirmed injectors are firing as well.

Can almost guarantee it is coil/wire/plug related at this point. Best way to troubleshoot is with a good running truck sitting next to it that you can swap parts with. I know there is a so cal rover club, one of those guys might be willing to help.

mostly the same. It stumbles a littls bit when I unplug it, but it doesn't seem to make any difference when I plug it back in.

Well, maybe swap in a good MAF, but for sure listen to Extinct.

I simply don't understand how it could be coil/plug/wire related, when I have confirmed each cylinder is getting spark. Please explain that to me, because it just doesn't make sense. I watched each individual spark plug make it's little zappy-zap, and tested it with a spark tester as well. So double confirmed for every cylinder. What am I not understanding?

I can see how, if I just slapped some parts on, sure. Bad parts out of the box, it happens. I got an alternator like that once. But to double confirm each cylinder is getting spark, and checked THREE dang times that the plug wires are indeed going to the right spot, I just don't see how this could be ignition related at all.

Explain it to me like I'm 5?
