Default My 04' Disco rear fog lights not coming on...

Hey Gents,

I've been searching on here for the better half of 2 hours, i'm tired!!

My rear fog lights on my 04' Disco are not coming on. The light on the switch illuminates but nothing happens. Fuses are ok. How do I remove the switch and where can i find the relays if any for them??

Thanks in advance...

A.J.

Are your head lights on?
Your head lights must be on for the rear fogs to work.
Otherwise check your bulbs.

I've been using them alot since we've been having a lot of heavy rain in the northeast. They jusy stoppped working the other day. I stuck my hand behind the lens and wiggled the wire and it flickered.

What could that be?

Loose wiring?

Should be an easyish fix.

The contacts inside the socket sometimes work loose so they don't make a good connection to the bulb base. Pull the bulb, bend the contacts in slightly and put a glob of dielectric grease in the socket. Since it flickers when you giggle the wire you know he bulb is good.
