Gents, for a while now, I had been mocking the fact that you guys refer to Canada as the great white north, while most of your northern states get much more snow than we do year after year. Well, this is no more!!! Thiswinter is a record settingone as far as snow accumulation goes. In fact, we normally get anywhere from 3 to 7 snow stroms in normal winters, but this year we are up to 29 !!! So far!!! more snow than the last 6 years combined and it ain't over[:@]Just so you know what I'm talking about, here's a picture of the rover parked in my driveway. Note that it is lifted and has a ski box, and still the snow bank is as high as the truck.

Beauty, eh!

We used to have some pretty good winters around here. Nothing exciting anymore though. I'm jealous, if you're going to have snow, you might as well do it right. So how's the rover do in that stuff?

Incredibly well, I'm lucky enough to have the solenoid activated CDL, which renders possible its use in 4 high, and I had to turn it on today in the streets that hadn't been cleared. Snow up to the doors !!!

Best vehicle I ever driven in the snow!!! And coming from a Jeep family and having owned 2 YJs, 1 TJ and 1 XJ while my father drives a Grand Cherokee, I can honestly state that nothing comes close to it, with the CDL locked of course. It still manages deep snow fairly enough unlocked. Somewhat like the quadra track Jeep equipped Grand Cherokees.

It is very nice and all, but this picture was taken today and normally you would see the grass around the first week of march ( spring break). I remember back when I was in College, where I was driving top down on my Jeep during spring break, all 3 years. So I've had enough snow for this year. Heck , with the amount we have, there's probably goona be some left in the shaded areas in June for crying out loud.

GLOBAL WARMING! AHHH!
haha, I would love to have just one big snow here in NC but so far this year we have had about 6-7 inches all together...
But i would get sick of it after 29 storms! At least you have a rover to try and get around in! But it doesnt look like anything will get around in that snow! Cool pic

If it snowed like that here in Georgia at least I would have my Rover to get me to the store for milk and bread, lol.... kind of a in state joke when it snows or they call for it; milk and bread sell out???

I hear ya Darover! I'm in WI...close enough to the "great white north" and we have had almost 100" so far this winter season...quitea bit above normal.

...I won't complain too much though...I'd rather it snowed and stayed snowy all winter rather than have one snowstorm here and there and bouts of muddy slush in-between.

I'm hoping for it to be over soon though *crosses fingers*

...I do 2nd the sentiment that the Disco, have a 2004 SE7 myself, is probably the best vehicle I've driven in the snow...especially with the CDL engaged.
