Default My Error Codes

Howdy all. I have done some reading on this site about error codes that others have posted. Based on the advice given over and over again that each person's issue can be unique I decided to start a new thread so please don't bash for not reading, I did.

I drive a 2004 Discovery SE7 with 83k miles. This morning I got codes P1412 and P1415, which appear to be related to a secondary air system fault. In another post there were references to pictures but I'm unable to view them, not sure if they have been removed.

Here is the post I'm referring to:

https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=23113

Thanks for any advice.

If you have never worked with the SAI system and don't see any loose hoses I would suggest you see a mechanic. By the way, this is not a critical problem and will not harm the engine if you must drive for awhile before finding a shop.

Spoke with a mechanic and he echoed the same remarks that it is not critical. I have not been under the hood since reading what I found earlier so I will look for some loose hoses tonight.

Thanks

Call me a fool, but I'd like to explore the SAI system on my own first. I don't see any loose hoses. Is there one area that I could focus on or test myself first?

Thanks
