Default My New Tires

I just installed my new Tread Wright MT-G tires today. They are 245/75r16 Goodyear MT/R sidewalls with identical tread pattern of a new tire. They all balanced out with minimal weight. The stiffer sidewalls and aggressive tread were what I needed compared to the General AT2 tires I was running. I highly recommend Tread Wright tire to anyone! The delivered quality seemed just as good as a new tire, only costing half as much.

Cheers,

Pete

Lookin good in the new rubber. Now lets see how long they last.
I was thinking of going with them too but maybe not so agressive.
They look just like the Goodyear Wrangler M/T that they mimic.

The rubber seems fairly hard, probably harder than a genuine MT/R. They are warrantied to 24,000 miles, although I have read in other forums of people going 50-60K with frequent rotations and watching the air pressure. I think it is a hell of a deal.

Cheers,

Pete

With the tire, shipping and mounting and balancing how much did they set you back?

Good deal. Its worth it is they last at least 30,000 miles. Any less than that then I would have to reconsider I think.

Give me 3 years or so and I'll let you know how they do.
