Angry My Odometer Mysteriously ADDED 100K MILES!

This morning I looked down at my odometer and there are exactly 100,000 MORE MILES on my truck than yesterday! Yes you read it right. Now instead of reading 162,xxx it reads 262,xxx!

WTF?

Did you ever install a used ECM, BCM or odometer? Is the odometer flashing?

No, the all electronics the truck was born with are still installed and the odo is not flashing.

This is a good thought - I will check to see if the odo changed to metric somehow. If so, how do I change it back?

SOLVED

@Richard Gallant You are correct. The odo switched from Miles to Kilometers somehow without me noticing. (Hold in the Trip Reset to toggle between Kilometers & Miles)

At my current mileage it was so close to adding exactly 100K miles (164,265 Miles = 264,303 Kilometers) I figured something must have gone wrong with the ECU.

Well at least I learned something today LOL. Thanks!
