Default My transfer case will go from l to h but won't move

While driving at a very slow sleep, the vehicle transmission starts slipping and grinding and then it won't go anywhere. It's making a grinding noise but will not move in REV or FWD. HELP

make sure you identify the particular system that is causing the problem. the transfer case (lo/hi) is separate from the transmission (r/n/d/etc) and each one has its own different fluid/oil.
