Default my trouble codes: where to begin and a confession or two.

Hello all,
The SES light has come on, so I had my codes read this morning and here is the list:

p0102: MAF sensor low out of range fault
p0132: O2, bank A upstream high voltage
p0300: multiple misfires
p0305: cyl5 misfire
p0307: cyl7 misfire
p0455: gross EVAP leak
p1300: random misfires
p1412: SAI LH side air not reaching cats
p1415: SAI RH side air not reaching cats
p1884: ???

the confessions:
1) my SAI pump sounds like a banshee. Filter in perfect shape. suspect bearings. found oily fluid in lower pipe connection. So, I disconnected it about 3 months ago and kept driving the vehicle. I've since reconnected the pump, as well as checked vacuum hose connections. suspect this will clear codes p1412/p1415

2) when I swapped out my P/S pump recently, I had a bleed-related error, i.e. PS fluid geyser spewed everywhere because I am an idiot. It def. got in/on/around MAF as the air cleaner box was off to gain clearance to bleed screw. I also ran a K&N for approx 20k, before I got wise and went back to paper ....did I toast my MAF?

3) plugs/wires replaced ~8k ago with autolite platinums/magnecor 8mm. wires replaced when old plug boot cracked allowing arc and misfires. CEL came on then (flashed), but no CEL now, just SES light.

4) I have had the codes read, but not cleared ever in last 25k (as long as I've owned truck). I will do that 1st, then get codes re-read. but any opinions now appreciated.

2003 DII S, 75,000mi.

thanks,
Ben

You need to clear out the old codes first to see what remains otherwise you are wasting your time chasing ghosts. Get a cheap scanner and erase them and drive around a bit.

good. I will go get it after work. thanks!

I hope I am just sitting on some old codes, but since I got her back together from the ps pump, I have noticed a bit of hesitation on accelerating (below 2k rpm) and an errant idle at times where it seems to want to stall out....but let me stop speculating and go get codes read....

thanks,
ben

I got a code reader and cleared the codes (i re-checked 1st, all still there). I drove the vehicle for a 50mi. roundtrip, and no SES light on (fingers cross). I know some codes will take a while to reappear, so I guess I wait. The vehicle seems to be running ok; havent had the idle with urge to stall in that short drive...

thanks for the help all.

Also some codes can be there and have not triggered the SES light yet.
