Default Mystery part of the day!

Was working on replacing O2 sensors. Found this hanging down when I was messing with the driver's side O2 sensor behind the catalytic converter. Any idea what this should be connected to?

What is this connector for?

Thanks! Stupid question: Any logical reason why this would be disconnected?

you probably don't have a t-case temperature sensor, so there's nothing for them to connect to.
