Default Name that Gasket!

Hey guys,

My Rover's in the shop getting a new upper-intake gasket, and they noticed where my leak actually was, and it's with the following gasket.

So I ask you, my favorite Land Rover buddies- can YOU name that gasket? I need to order a new one

It's "on the bottom side of the plenum at the throttle body", according to the mechanic.

Name: gasket.jpg

Thanks... SO much, as always.

FYI- I looked at ALL the gaskets on RoverParts.com, and don't see it sold individually.

It's in the full kit- http://www.roverparts.com/product/img/Icn/STC4082BK.jpg

But it's not there individually. If any of you can put a name to this little baby, I'd REALLY appreciate it.

Thanks!

Pat

THANK YOU!

The replacement looks like this- is that right? Is the center stuff not needed then?

Maybe they can just make one?

That is the one. I would get the whole kit, that plate can warp etc..

When mine blew it shot fluid straight onto the manifold. I was on the road so I zip tied a piece of folded up tinfoil across the front of the plate until I could get home. LOL!

If you are in a pinch, just bypass it and tie the 2 lines together until the new kit comes in...

Bingo - that's the one. I had to put a new one in when I did my head gasket job. Get the whole kit for the $25 (not just the gasket).

P.S. - It also comes in the head gasket kit from AB standard for the 4.6L Bosch motor.
