Need Advice!!!
So i just bought a 2001 Disco and from the small research I have done I would need to install the 2004 T/C shifter to optimize my off road experience, However I would like to know if swapping it for a 2004 model would be my best bet instead......like if there is pros/cons as far as self leveling suspension or anything in similar.........Also my buddies keep telling me to get a Jeep Wrangler instead I rlly doubt the specs r anywhere near the Rover Haha!!!
First you need to make sure your t-case has the CDL, look/feel for a bolt ontop of the t-case.
If you have the bolt then buy a DI CDL shift linkage, it is cheaper than the '04 linkage.
Look for wrecked DI's at salvage yards and pull it off of one.
Or you can buy the whole used DI t-case and linkage to put into your truck.
