I have fruitlessly been searching for an independent Land Rover mechanic in my area who has the equipment to diagnos my abs system. I am trying to get rid of the # amigos once and for all.

Any suggestions?

Right next to Troy, but... Autobahn Center Inc. in Albany. They sell and work on a lot of Disco II's and that's where I bought mine from. All the trucks that they sell there look like they're in real good shape and priced right. They have all of the diagnostic equipment that a dealer would have if not more. I haven't had much work done there but I would take it there for something that I couldn't handle myself.

I've been to him. Real nice guy and knows his stuff. And very fair on what he charges. (He has a nice XJ6 for sale too. tempting........)
