NEED HELP cylinder 1/2 misfire and trouble with radio tape
2004 Land Rover Disco
First off took off battery plugs to reset system, ever since tape is stuck on eject mode, and the tape wont come out. Any advice please share.
Next, the Engine Light came on. Checked codes, ran Cylinder 5/6 misfire. Car sounds rough, a slight shake to the car, rumble noise. Heard might be spark plugs.
third time the engine light has come on in the past 2-3 months.
Anything helps. Much thanks

I don't think unhooking the battery resets anything on a 2004 Discovery. Well, maybe the clock.
What system were you trying to reset and why?
If unhooking the battery caused the tape deck to fault, you might try unhooking it again. Nothing to lose, except resetting the clock again. Have you tried using the non-writing end of a pen or similar object to push the cassette tape fully into the player? It may not be seated properly and has the head unit confused.
What code reader are you using and what specific codes are you getting?
To echo Harvlr, if you don't know the last time the plugs and wires were done, you should probably replace them. Plugs first because they're easy. If the misfires don't go away, then you can move onto changing out the plug wires with 8 mm Kingsbourne, STI, or other trusted brand.
