It seems like a thread on this would be fitting, I have read a lot of threads but nothing really complete on the "normal" problems. I had a Jeep once and the forum included a year range and issues to look out for and only a moderator could add to it. Just a thought

Neither the Toyota or Discovery were designed to run on one drive shaft, they both have different 4wheel drive systems but a Discovery will give you the comfort you can't get from a Discovery, on or off the road.
