pull the negative lead off the batt for a few mins, not the rite thing to do but it should reset if you're in a bind.

The crank sensor is plug and play, no reset needed.
But like ryand2 said give it a try and let us know how you make out.

Ok, it is either the cranks sensor or the coil pack, check for spark on the other side of the engine.

the problem i had before i replaced the crank sensor would probally help you guys a little better. i stopped at a gas station 4 days ago and it would not start the battery ran dead so i got a jump and it fired right up so i got it home and it started 4 times in a row. so i drove it to work the next morning and shut it off and came back out 10 mins later and it wouldnt start so i looked for spark in #2 and found nothing.so i checked all the fuses and and thought it was the battery so i replaced it. then i was on my way home and it stalled in the middle of the road and would not start up so 15 mins later it fired up and got it home and then it would not start so i replaced the crank sensor today and it just cranks with the old one it would lest start up im lost on what to do.

Did you get the correct crank sensor?
Did you install it correctly?
Put the old one back in and see if it then starts and runs.
