That's what I was thinking too, but I've read so much about blocks and head gaskets. I've taken the alternator off, and almost have the intake off. Those 2 8mm on the coil are tough to get at.
There is no coolant hose behind the lower intake.
Only the 2 for the heater core on the passenger side firewall.
If the leak is between the head and block, then it's the head gasket.
If the leak is still from the timing cover, after you've replaced it and the water pump several times, I would check to see if maybe a previous owner threaded a bolt through the block into a coolant passage/water jacket. Unlikely, and hopefully not the problem.
The link has a tool that will make the far right (looking at the vehicle from the engine bay) head bolt A HELL OF A LOT easier. Regular u joints have too much play, and there really is not much room for just a socket and extension.
Some auto parts places carry them, my local Autozone does, though only 3/8 drive.
