need a little help with some issues
Just to be clear, you won't be lubing anything on the front driveshaft until it gets rebuilt. The flaw with the factory setup is no zerk fittings.
LR seems to have gone with the recent industry trend of "no grease fittings, lubed for life" for all of the moving bits. Unfortunately, they didn't really do much of anything to make sure it would never need lube, they just removed the fittings so you get to watch your components run to failure.

I've looked on roverparts.com and I can find the U joints, just not the centering ball. off hand what would the part number be for it?
I might have said it before..sorry bout that.. but the had 4 of the platinum U joints for her on hand, would those be good to use?

I just ordered four joints-Moog 344, a ball-Moog 617 and several filters from rockauto. As long as all items in your order come from same warehouse the shipping cost is reasonable.

I second armyrover. Get a new drive shaft it's the best 200you can spend and it will literally only take 45min to replace.rather than 3 hours working on the rebuild...

how long will this sale be going on?
