I was an electrician, and they make plug fillers that are flat one one side and have a screw on the other. You can paint it to match and it comes with a gasket to seal out water. I saw someone had used some when removing his rack to install an aftermarket one.

Your racks go all the way back? where are you?

Do you have SLS? If only the rear is making contact with the garage, you could buy the optional remote designed to lower your suspension when needed to hook up a trailer.
If you need to drop the front, heating the coils is your only option.

the option okdiscoguy discussed is what I was thinking. Once you remove the headliner and take the rails off, you're left w/ a few holes. You can just drill them out (if needed) and fit bolts or pop rivet them closed. Use washers or a sealant to make them water tight. Only problem w/ doing the SLS might be if it malfunctions or you forget to lower it after having a few beers , you're left w/ a disco stuck between the floor and the ceiling.

Well, typically you will have a button on your console and I believe it's a disco with an arrow going up....

also, with SLS you have the airbags that will hiss when you get out, or will raise your suspenion when people get in...

One way to test it would be to put alot of weight on the back and see if it lifts itself.. :]

sls is the air bag set up instead of springs. Look under the back and see if youhave coil springs or 2 black rubber bags.

FYI....SLS= Self Leveling Suspension

I thought that the SE's came with coil suspension and the HSE's came with the air suspension... We actually looked for the SE's because we heard the air suspension was very expensive to fix when it went...
